Discription:

The Press Assistant assists with the daily printing of the newspapers. He or she works as part of a team that operates at our Distribution Center located at 45 and 610. The Press Assistant would be responsible for preparing press for daily print jobs; jogging and loading paper on pallets; loading paper rolls; cleaning press machine and press rooms; learning and performing various manual and mechanical press duties.

Qualifications:
  • Lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Have basic reading, math and mechanical skills

Coordinator for Girls Program

Mission:

To enrich the spiritual, educational, vocational, and leadership development of inner city families through Christ-centered mentoring, bringing transforming growth to Houston’s Third Ward.

FORGE for Families provides a highly rated standard of fellowship with the kids. The female program coordinator works directly with Sheila Couisnard Female Program Director /Founder, Prince Couisnard, Executive Director/founder

Requirements:
  • Attending an educational institution
  • 2–3 years experience in youth ministry or youth organization
  • Able to manage and facilitate programs
  • Knowledge and experience in urban culture
  • Plan and coordinate overall program and activities
  • Transportation (Valid Drivers license)
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications in the Microsoft Office Suite, such as PowerPoint.
  • Must know how to use a copier and a fax machine.
