Adam Mason, MAMFC, LPC-S
Adam is the Minister of Counseling Services at Houston’s First Baptist Church. He is an ordained minister of Christian counseling in the Southern Baptist church and a Licensed Professional Counselor/Supervisor in the state of Texas. He has his Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been counseling since 1988, and he practices from a biblical perspective, using a cognitive-behavioral approach. Adam has a passion for marriages and for leading men to discover how to lead out of Godly strength.

David Wells, MAMFC, LPC-SDavid is the Associate Minister of Counseling Services at Houston’s First Baptist Church. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is called to help families, couples, students and other individuals through a biblically based, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approach. He desires to see God’s restoration in relationships and has a heart for premarital and marital counseling, for father-son relationships and for spiritual issues.

Betsy Contreras, MA, LPC-intern, Bilingual Counselor
Betsy is a Spanish Bilingual, Licensed Professional Counselor Intern with a Masters of Arts in Psychology. She is also in the process of working towards her certification as a Registered Play Therapist. Her great aspiration of being a Christian Counselor is to help the person to become the treasure God has created in him/her. Her work with children, individuals, married couples and family units is through a biblically base and holistic therapy in order to help them fulfill their purpose in Christ and walk closer with Him.
